Fes Festival of World Sacred Music

Held in Jnan Sbil Gardens and historic venues across Fes el-Bali, featuring 150+ musicians from 30 countries performing daily. Tickets for main stages start at 30 MAD. Arrive by 9 AM for prime seating at the Andalusian Gardens venue.

MARCH

Mawlid al-Nabi

Celebrates the Prophet Muhammad's birthday with processions through the medina, culminating at the Al-Qarawiyyin Mosque. The main procession begins at 10 AM on March 15, 2026, and is free to observe. Avoid the main square after 3 PM for quieter views of lantern displays.

OCTOBER

Fes Festival of Arts

Showcases contemporary art exhibitions at Dar al-Magana and traditional crafts demonstrations in the Mellah district. Events run October 12-25, 2026, with entry fees from 40 MAD for gallery access. The free street art walk in the old city starts daily at 11 AM near Bab Bou Jeloud.
