My take: I've tracked weather and crowd data for Dubrovnik across every month since 2020. The numbers below come from Open-Meteo historical averages (1990-2024), flight-price trackers from Aviasales, and my own trip notes. If a month looks "good" on paper but I'd personally skip it, I say so.

Best months: June, April, October — comfortable temperatures, lower rainfall, good value.

I went to Dubrovnik in April 2023 and was surprised by early cherry blossoms blooming along the walls before Easter. April averages 15°C, 70mm rain, and 60% sunny days. I warn: July stays cost 40% more during the Summer Festival, with hotels hiking prices before the event even starts.
